So many "Snow" Days...

We don't know about you guys but we have had some CRAZY weather. We had Friday and Monday off due to ice. We were going crazy being trapped inside that we decided to work on some new products and a freebie.

We have been working on Nouns and Verbs in the classroom. It has been so much fun. We started by making an anchor chart of our nouns.

When I wrote them I tried to include the el/la for sorting purposes later. With the second language learners I found it to be a lot easier when I included the gender. Please excuse any typos and how sloppy it is.

Later they sorted the pictures under person, place, or thing.
When they completed that task they sorting based on el/la.

We also practiced our chant. The kids LOVE chanting this and I love hearing them chant it all around the classroom. This particular clip is of a second language learner. He needs some help but the students loved helping him. Doesn't he sound like a native speaker?? You may need to click on the sound cloud to take you to the website. (Sorry we are new to this!)

Head on over to TPT to check out this pack! Just click on either picture ^

Click on either one of them to your FREEBIE.

Thanks for all the support!
